ArtMattan Productions
(annual & special programs):
Producers and presenters of films relating to the African Diaspora, ArtMattan productions is a co-presenter of our annual Caribbean Diaspora Film series (in August) and the Best of African Diaspora Film Festival (in February).

BAM Local Development Corporation
The BAM LDC is an independent, nonprofit organization whose mission is to create a vibrant, mixed-use multicultural arts district in Downtown Brooklyn.

Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation (Restoration)
Since 1997, BAM has conducted a groundbreaking collaborative five-month educational project with Restoration. This highly successful program aims to foster a greater interest in the arts and the opportunity for students to participate in a professional program encompassing the performing arts, visual, and literary arts, including the cultural history of countries in Africa and the African Diaspora. The program, which includes more than 200 students from elementary, middle, and high school, features the 30-member BAM/Restoration DanceAfrica Ensemble. Black Cinema Café
A monthly program featuring the best new films focusing on the African-American experience. Black Cinema Café gives the community a chance to meet and mingle with filmmakers and producers.

Black Rock Coalition
Each February, the Black Rock Coalition hosts an annual music residency at BAMcafé.

Brooklyn Jewish Film Festival
Presented each April at BAMcinématek, the Brooklyn Jewish Film Festival has grown into the borough's largest celebration of films relating to the Jewish experience.

Brooklyn Philharmonic
Brooklyn Philharmonic is Brooklyn's sole professional orchestra. It is directed by Michael Christie and produces an annual season of concerts

Brooklyn Young Filmmakers Club (monthly program)
(This program will restart Fall 2003.) Screening & discussion club every third Thursday of the month.

Cinema Tropical
A monthly film series showcasing recent Latin American films held every third Wednesday of the month.

Korean Film Festival

Mark Morris Dance Group
The world-renowned Mark Morris Dance Group marks its nineteenth BAM engagement this season. In 2001 the company opened the Mark Morris Dance Center, located one block from BAM.

Medgar Evers College (CUNY)
Together with the office of the Brooklyn Borough President, Medgar Evers College co-presents BAM's annual A Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

New Czech Film
The Czech Center annually co-presents this series of New Czech Films, complete with special events and filmmaker Q&As. czechcenter.com

The New Fest @ BAM
A bimonthly series featuring the best in Gay/Lesbian/Bi/Trans cinema programmed by The New Festival.

651 ARTS
Based in the BAM Harvey Theater, 651 ARTS is a major developer, producer, and presenter of contemporary performing arts by Black artists.

SONYA (South of the Navy Yard Artists)
SONYA is a non-profit organization that enlivens the art community by creating an infrastructure for Brooklyn artists. Together with SONYA and Danny Simmons, BAM presented a month-long SONYA Group Show. In addition BAM also participates in the SONYA Studio Stroll.
