Marking his first New York show, chef, author, and host of the Travel Channel's No Reservations & The Layover, Anthony Bourdain visits the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House for one night only. Bourdain shares candid and sometimes hilarious insights about his life's work and travels, with an open Q&A with the audience to follow.

Bourdain has been dubbed "the bad boy of cuisine" for his rock-star look and blunt observations about the world of restaurants, chefs, and cooking. The chef-at-large at New York's famed bistro Les Halles, Bourdain's newest bestseller, Medium Raw: A Bloody Valentine to the World of Food and the People Who Cook, is a delectable journey that explores the changes in the subculture of the restaurant business, and in himself, since his first book, Kitchen Confidential, was published. His widely popular Emmy Award-winning show No Reservations, is now in its eighth season.
