Adaptive Master Class with John Heginbotham

In conjunction with The Principles of Uncertainty
John Heginbotham, founder and artistic director of Dance Heginbotham, leads this accessible master class for adults with limited mobility. After a brief warm-up, participants explore a few movement phrases from Dance Heginbotham’s repertory, with a particular focus on this season’s production of The Principles of Uncertainty. The session offers optional modifications, with seated and standing versions of every combination.
Participants are asked to share their accommodation needs in advance, so that we can coordinate assistance and plan workshop content accordingly.
Choreographer John Heginbotham collaborates with illustrator Maira Kalman, bringing her candy-colored musings on travel, beauty, and mortality to fanciful, moving life.
