For experienced and professional dancers
In this movement-based class taught by choreographer Doug Varone, participants investigate the line of human movement and how it can affect the broader strokes of our dancing. Through the expansive use of the back and limbs, the class explores Varone’s technique and style through an emphasis on breath, strength, dynamic lyricism, and musicality. After a substantial warm-up and introduction, Varone will create large dance phrases, setting and resetting them to various scores.
Award-winning choreographer and director Doug Varone creates emotional, kinetic work.
