Created exclusively for Brooklyn high schools, this poetry program is designed to build literacy through creative writing, analysis, and performance. BAM teaching artists,
professionals in the world of spoken-word, guide students toward a culminating performance of their original work and the publication of a poetry anthology. Participants also attend a
performance of Poetry 2015.

Special needs classes are encouraged to apply. Limited space is available.

Only Brooklyn high schools may apply. Schools will be notified of their acceptance by November 21.
