Through an intensive, interactive series of workshops, teachers learn how to approach Shakespeare in the classroom.
This free program meets on Jan 8, 15, 22, 29 & Feb 5, 2013, from 4:30-6:30pm and Sat, Feb 9 from 10am-4pm.
BAM partners with the Folger Shakespeare Library for this intensive series of workshops that instructs teachers how to approach Shakespeare’s work in the classroom (grades 8—12) led by Michael LoMonico (senior consultant for the Folger Shakespeare Library, former high school teacher and author of The Shakespeare Book of Lists and Shakespeare 101) and featuring BAM teaching artists. Participants receive the Folger Shakespeare Library Toolkit and a ticket to a Spring Season production at BAM. Space is limited. Teachers are also encouraged to apply for Shakespeare Teaches Students; preference will be given to teachers applying to both programs.
