Shakespeare Teaches Teachers

Teachers only
Jan 7—Feb 8, 2014

Through an intensive series of workshops, teachers learn how to approach Shakespeare in the classroom.

Part of Education

Maximize your class’ appreciation of the Bard’s work in this intensive workshop, presented in partnership with the Folger Shakespeare Library and led by Michael LoMonico (senior consultant for the Folger Shakespeare Library, former high school teacher, and author of Shakespeare 101). All participants receive a ticket to the BAM production of King Lear  and a Folger Shakespeare Library Toolkit.

Space is limited and priority is given to teachers who also take advantage of our in-school residencies Shakespeare Teaches Students or Young Shakespeare.

This program consists of five Tuesday evening workshops from 4:30-6:30pm and one Saturday workshop from 10am-4pm.
