In addition to the ongoing Education programs for kaBAM, Generation BAM, and family audiences, the Department of Education and Humanities offers a variety of programs for different populations and occasions. These include the DanceAfrica Education program in partnership with the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation; Brooklyn Reads, poetry/spoken word programs for Brooklyn schools; Courtroom Drama/Drawing on Justice, an after school program in theater and visual arts for students interested in these arts disciplines and in learning more about the criminal justice system; a partnership with the Community Roots Charter School; adult master classes; and periodic special events.
