Kids gain hands-on experience with creative technology in this special partnership with the Museum of the Moving Image. Working with one of the museum’s instructors at BAM, students study existing video games for style and structure while learning basic programming skills to design their own games. The lab concludes with an expo for family and friends, where students give a demonstration of their new creations. No previous experience is necessary.

Your child will:
• learn introductory computer programming
• critique their own and others’ video game designs
• develop abstract reasoning skills
