Modeled on BAM’s pioneering in-school program Shakespeare
Teaches Students, this intensive workshop brings Shakespeare’s text
to life through stage combat training, scene study, improvisation,
and textual analysis. Students examine and perform a variety of
scenes and monologues from the Bard’s works, and give an informal
presentation for friends and family at the end of the week. No
previous acting experience is necessary.
Your teen will:
• improve vocabulary and language skills
• increase physical coordination and body awareness
• deepen reading comprehension and appreciation
