Blissfully ignoring the fate of the dinosaurs, a planet full of homo sapiens excitedly welcome the passing of a comet that, unbeknownst to them, is hurtling directly into the earth. In delightful B-movie fashion, Night of the Comet doesn’t trouble itself with the more dour realities of a global holocaust but instead tracks two feisty valley girls. When not cruising around a desolate Los Angeles on posh boutique looting sprees, our heroines battle zombified survivors and a secret government agency bent on using young women’s blood for their own survival.
