SCTV alums Moranis and Thomas present a beer-soaked take on Hamlet as Bob and Doug McKenzie, two Canuck “hosers” who uncover a nefarious braumeister’s (von Sydow) plot to take over the world with his new mind-controlling brew. Throw in an endless stream of surreal gags, affectionate swipes at our neighbors to the north (eh?), a haunted video game, voice work from Mel Blanc, and lots (and lots) of booze, and you’ve got a stumbling-drunk classic of Beer Cinema.
