Over 40 years and 100+ albums, the legendary German ambient group Tangerine Dream has also composed more than 30 film scores, starting with William Friedkin's legendary 1977 film Sorcerer. In advance of the band's US tour this July, BAMcinématek presents a 10-film primer to celebrate the group's cosmic, ethereal, moving, and often contrapuntal scores.
