Seven years into marriage, middle-aged Richard Sherman (Tom Ewell) imagines himself back into a bachelor’s life when his family goes away for summer holiday.  When he meets a gorgeous blonde neighbor (Marilyn Monroe), he bonds with her over drinks and music, but must figure out how to resist temptation. Adapted from a hit Broadway play, The Seven Year Itch  finds Marilyn Monroe at the peak of her popularity and includes one of her most iconic onscreen moments: her dress twirling up from a gust of air from under a subway grate.
