The first of Pryor's four screen pairings with Wilder, this big-budget action/romance/comedy would become the template for a slew of mixed-race odd-couple teamings to come. On the Silver Streak train from LA to Chicago, Wilder strikes up a romance with Clayburgh and gets sucked into an art forgery cover-up and murder plot. The movies catches fire with the arrival of Pryor, whose crackling chemistry with Wilder is positively combustible. Archival print!
