Nilsson and Ringo Starr in a high camp, Hammer horror-style rock musical spoof? It exists. The plot—with Nilsson as the titular, reluctant heir to the title of King of the Netherworld, and a gray-bearded Ringo as his wizard mentor, Merlin—is above all an excuse for the frequent musical interludes, which include Nilsson performing “Jump Into the Fire” backed by The Who’s Keith Moon on drums.
