Directed by Cheik Doukouré | 2003

With Élisabeth Vitali, Cheik Doukouré, Vincent McDoom

Moussa is appointed to go to Paris to buy a new water pump. On his journey, he encounters typical immigrant difficulties—crime, police raids, odd jobs—but ultimately finds solidarity with the community in France. This humorous and moving film stirred controversy in France, and was awarded the Human Rights award by the United Nations.
