Set amid Crown Heights' Yoruba community, this ravishing visual feast from Andrew Dosunmu (Where Is Kyra?, BAMcinemaFest 2017) opens with the dazzling colors, textiles, music, and dance of a Nigerian wedding ceremony. What ensues is at once sumptuous melodrama and an incisive immigrants' tale as a new wife's struggles to conceive drive her to take drastic action to save her marriage.
