Winner of the 2012 Alpert Award in Theater and a finalist for the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for drama, the multitalented Eisa Davis has appeared in TV’s The Wire and Damages and in such films as The Architect and Welcome to the Rileys. Best known in the musical world for her Obie Award-winning turn as Mother in Broadway’s Passing Strange, Davis appears at BAMcafé Live for an evening of mellow acoustic originals that showcase her terrific voice.
