The Deedle Deedle Dees are a Brooklyn-based educational rock band, hailed as one of the top “Music Picks for Families” in 2011 by Paste magazine. The group’s latest release, Strange Dees, Indeed, was featured on NPR’s All Things Consideredand has been in heavy rotation on Sirius XM’s Kids Place Live;Spare the Rock, Spoil the Child in Northampton, MA; Saturday Morning Cereal Bowl in Knoxville, TN; and many other family radio shows across the country. Founded by teaching artist and songwriter Lloyd Miller in 2003, the Deedle Deedle Dees have brought their highly interactive performances to venues across the country, including Symphony Space; the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art in Amherst, MA; the William J. Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, AR; and the World Cafe Live in Philadelphia.
