"Absurdly talented duo Theo Metz and Christopher Tignor's hypnotic instrumental sprawl winds and curves in on itself, sounding like a romantic promenade jaunt for replicants."
—The Guardian UK

Wires Under Tension is a South Bronx-based duo that creates synth-heavy post-rock soundscapes awash in electronic samples, loops, and driving rhythms. Comprising violinist and multi-instrumentalist Christopher Tignor and drummer Theo Metz, the pair stretches the boundaries of instrumental music, with “chiming, resonant and anthemic” (The Village Voice) compositions that mash up 20th-century classical minimalism with 21st-century digital textures and beats.
