With films straight from the 2007 Sundance Film Festival, sneak peeks of new work being developed with Sundance Institute support, and programs that take you inside the creative process, Sundance Institute at BAM presents nine dramatic features, eight documentaries, a screenplay reading, and 27 shorts from some of the most exciting emerging filmmakers in the US and around the world.


Opening Night
Sundance Institute at BAM kicks off with the New York Premiere of Son of Rambow, the breakout hit of this year's Sundance Film Festival, followed by a party for all ticket holders with free beer from Brooklyn Brewery.

Sundance Institute at BAM presents nine dramatic features, eight documentaries, and 27 shorts from some of the most exciting emerging filmmakers in the US and around the world.
   
Sundance Shorts Sunday
This selection of animation, dramas, documentaries, and comedies from the 2007 Sundance Film Festival brings the best of the year's short films to BAM.
 
Four Independents that Turned the Tide (Documentary Screenings and Panel Discussion)
Choose one of four films from seminal documentarians Albert Maysles, Barbara Kopple, Raoul Peck, and Nick Broomfield and then join the directors for a panel discussion.
 
Theater / Music / Events
Sundance Institute at BAM offers seven free events in BAMcafé that shed light on Sundance Institute's year-round development programs in film, theater, and music, including a live screenplay reading and five lively concerts.
