May 29—June 8

Join BAM and Sundance Institute for eleven days of independent film, theater, and music that bring the creative energy of the Institute's artists and programs to New York audiences. For the third straight year, this series presents film direct from the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, musical performances, panel discussions, and special events that highlight work from some of today's most dynamic film and theater artists.

This year's series opens on May 29 with a special screening of 2008 Sundance Film Festival documentary favorite American Teen in the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House. Read the piece in The New York Times about our Opening Night event for more information.
