For 25 years, BAM Executive Producer Joseph V. Melillo has been working behind the scenes to help singular artists realize their vision at BAM. From the time when Joe came to BAM in 1983 as producing director of the Next Wave Festival to his role today, he's always challenged artists to challenge themselves, helping transform raw inspiration into polished performance and opening doors to new opportunities.

Twenty-Five Years of Joe celebrates this extraordinary commitment with a look back at some of the artistic landmarks Joe helped make possible. In conjunction with this initiative, BAM has launched the Joseph V. Melillo Fund for Artistic Innovation, a new funding vehicle to help Joe continue discovering, developing, and presenting exceptional artists for many years to come.
