Artist Talk: Nandipha Mntambo

DanceAfrica’s featured visual artist this year is Nandipha Mntambo. The South African sculptor, painter, photographer, and video artist discusses her practice—which encompasses her large-scale cowhide works to the video pieces on view in the Diker Gallery Café—with Ashley James, Assistant curator of contemporary art at Brooklyn Museum.
The event is followed by a wine tasting on the BAM Fisher Rooftop Terrace, featuring all South African wines.
