When Albert, a historian, takes his teen daughter Jeanne to Sweden for their annual vacation, they discover their rental house is already occupied. This causes tension for the father and daughter who normally have a good relationship—Jeanne feels she has grown up more than her father can admit, while Albert is bothered by the fact that the tenants have not left the rental in time.
