Do you pass the same buildings every day and never look up to the top floors? Or do you eavesdrop in elevators and sometimes glance into your neighbor's apartment, hoping for a clue to that curious accent? For December, Between the Lines gives into guilty pleasures and searches for city stories hidden in plain sight, gazing out onto urban landscapes to discover overlooked spaces and overheard lives. The evening also includes the New York debut of Dark Hand and Lamplight, animating the exquisite folk music of songwriter Doug Paisley with the live drawings and otherworldly projections of visual artist Shary Boyle.
