Jazz, History and Shopping: A Five-Hour Brooklyn Adventure

In celebration of Black History Month, the Destination Brooklyn cultural tour bus tour navigates five Brooklyn neighborhoods (Prospect Heights, Bedford Stuyvesant, Weeksville, Crown Heights, and Flatbush) promoting shopping in Brooklyn and showcasing black-owned businesses, cultural venues, and jazz. Beginning at 1pm, the tour introduces visitors to a diverse array of cultural organizations including Weeksville Heritage Center, Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Center, and Motique Gallery. Participating shops include Pieces, Calabar Imports, Harriet's Alter Ego, Calabash, Sole Sublime Spa, Afroarts, and Awedacity. The trip ends with jazz performances at several locations including Solomon's Porch.
