In 2025, we’re honoring the power of the poets in an unapologetic celebration of those who give voice to the voiceless through hip-hop and spoken word. In the spirit of the conscious rap movement of the late 80s and mid-90s, artist-activists and musical disruptors come together on the BAM stage to uplift and celebrate the political force of the art form.
