SITI Company

SITI Company is a groundbreaking artistic collective founded in 1992 by Anne Bogart, Tadashi Suzuki, and a group of likeminded artists to redefine and revitalize contemporary theater in the US. Originally envisioned as a summer institute in Saratoga Springs, New York, SITI eventually expanded to New York City, encompassing: a year-round season inclusive of touring, a home base for the creation of new work, a conservatory program to cultivate the next generation of independent theater artists, and an international training program. The company is led by artistic directors Anne Bogart, Leon Ingulsrud, and Ellen Lauren and composed of eight actors, four designers, and one playwright.
