Katy Pyle is a multimedia performance artist. She has toured as a performer and collaborator with Young Jean Lee Theater Company’s Untitled Feminist Show and with choreographers Faye Driscoll, John Jasperse, and Jennifer Monson. Pyle has shown her own work at Brooklyn Arts Exchange, PS122, La MaMa and currently teaches classes in Ballez, a technique that explores ballet movement beyond heteronormative constructs. Her work The Firebird, a Ballez premiered at Danspace Project at St. Mark’s Church in May 2013.
