Artists

Lars Jan is a director, designer, writer, and media artist who has received commissions from the Whitney Museum and EMPAC. He has made genre-bending artworks about TED Talks, megachurch media design, Laika the Soviet space dog, suicide bombing celebrity, and a downed fighter pilot. Jan has created an image ballet with Steadicam operators, choreographed seven women in burqas, and wrangled a giant panda with iPads for paws.
