Institutional Radio Choir

The Institutional Radio Choir was founded over 50 years ago by Chief Apostle Carl E. Williams, Sr. Perhaps best known for their performance at BAM in 1983 in The Gospel at Colonus, the Billboard chart-topping choir returns to the stage after a decade-long hiatus.

The choir has had the privilege of performing with some of the industry’s greatest entertainers, including Sting, Barry Manilow, Ben Vereen, Glenn Frye, Paul Simon, Morgan Freeman, Max Roach, Roberta Flack, Patti LaBelle, the Brooklyn Philharmonic Orchestra, and many others. Today, it is led by Bishop Carl E. Williams, Jr., who is currently the Senior Pastor of the Institutional Church in Brooklyn. His vision of the Institutional Radio Choir is to ensure hope to mankind through the gospel of Jesus Christ, utilizing their ministry of song. The Lord has blessed this choir tremendously, and this choir relishes in giving God praise.
