After a two-year hiatus, BAMcafé Live is back! Join us on select Fridays and Saturdays for live music from Brooklyn and beyond. Featuring rock, jazz, R&B, world music, and more, these free performances kick off in February with Kaleta & Super Yamba Band and run all spring, with new artists announced each month.
BAMcafé Live features a diverse mix of free live music and performance in BAM's Adam E. Max Gathering Space, a bar and lounge space in the Peter Jay Sharp Building. Started in 1999, BAMcafé Live has served as a career launchpad for many new artists and an intimate performance home for established artists.
Please note: BAMcafé will open an hour before the event. All performances will adhere to protocols developed in accordance with New York State regulations and in consultation with medical professionals for the safety of our artists, audiences, and staff. Please visit BAM's Safety Protocol page for more information.
