Pape Moussa Sonko, the choreographer of Waato Siita Company, leads this immersive workshop in dance and music. Participants master the high kicks, hip contractions, and fast turns of sabar, the popular Wolof dance performed at weddings and other celebratory community social gatherings. Musicians from Waato Siita provide rhythmic accompaniment.
