RSC Assistant Director Anna Girvan and members of the company lead with a vocal warm-up, followed by a close textual analysis of the play, and finally an exploration of various ways of staging this pivotal scene, featuring several of the principle characters. Ideal for actors at the beginning stages of their career, this unique class offers an in-depth look at what it takes to translate Shakespeare’s text from the rehearsal room to the stage.
