The innovative theatermakers, Dante or Die lead a workshop in the group’s unique approach to site-based work. The company has developed shows in the UK and abroad in such varied spaces as hotels, community leisure facilities, and self-storage units.
For this session, participants get practical exposure to Dante or Die’s creative process—including improvisation exercises to maximize the creative potential of spaces, devising techniques, and relationship to audience—as well as unique insight into the methods behind this season’s site-specific work User Not Found, at Greene Grape Annex.
Bear witness via smartphone to a stranger’s profound personal experience in this site-specific play, which contemplates our afterlife on the internet and our shifting notions of connection.
