Students develop the artistic and critical thinking skills to examine social justice.

Part of Education

All students must complete an online application and interview in order to be considered for the program. No previous experience is required.

This interdisciplinary initiative helps students develop artistic, critical thinking, and presentation skills by examining important issues affecting young people and their communities. This fall, Arts & Justice will take on civil and human rights issues from a teen’s perspective.

In this program, students:
・ Engage in self-expression, creative writing, research, and in-depth group projects.
・ Learn performance and presentation skills while developing an original theatrical presentation to share with their friends & family
・ Performed at the BAM Fishman Theatre.
・ Attend events and discussions with invited guest speakers

Application deadline: Oct, 2, 2014


2hr workshop on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays.

Appropriate for grades 9—12.
