CURRICULUM CONNECTIONS: Social Studies, History (Dance Africa Festival)

Celebrate the cultural vitality of Africa and its diaspora at this annual festival that showcases a new visiting dance company each year, alongside film, art, and an outdoor bazaar. Now a fixture in the Brooklyn community, DanceAfrica offers an exciting, immersive way for students to learn about the movement, music, and cultural traditions of Africa and its diaspora.

Includes a pre-show workshop.

Individual orders are limited to a maximum of 250 students. If you would like to bring multiple groups that exceed the maximum, please submit the reservation form for each group.
