PROGRAM
Fall/Winter
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our fall season of virtual programming! We were able to come together for robust and creative adaptations of beloved programs—including book launches with leading writers and thinkers, the 35th Annual Brooklyn Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and the BAMkids Film Festival—as well as world premieres of new works such as V’s That Kindness: Nurses in their Own Words and Riz Ahmed’s The Long Goodbye: Livestream Edition.
We were pleased to see Governor Cuomo’s announcement that movie theaters can now reopen, and we are working hard to welcome you back while meeting the highest safety standards. We are still evaluating when to reopen BAM Rose Cinemas, and we hope to share those plans soon.
We’re also excited to announce BAM’s spring season! We’re looking forward to an innovative line-up of both in-person, socially distant live events and virtual programs. While this remains a time of great uncertainty, we’re excited to get creative about the many ways to safely connect in the months ahead. From Prospect Park to the Brooklyn Navy Yard to your home, BAM’s spring season brings world-class art directly to you.
