Looney Tunes!
- 11AM
Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Pepé Le Pew, and many more run amok on our screens in this special Looney Tunes matinee—back by popular demand after last fall’s sold-out screenings of Chuck Jones cartoons. See Saturday morning cartoons on the big screen, including films by Jones, Friz Freleng, and Robert McKimson.
Highlights include Jones’ Zoom and Bored (1957), which pits Wile E. Coyote against the ever-elusive Road Runner; Freleng’s Revolutionary War spoof Bunker Hill Bunny (1949), featuring Bugs Bunny and a red-coated Yosemite Sam trying to blow each other to smithereens at the Battle of Bagel Heights; and McKimson’s A Fractured Leghorn (1950), in which Foghorn Leghorn attempts to outsmart a barnyard cat.
