Directed by Rémi Bezançon, Jean-Christophe Lie

With Max Renaudin, Vernon Dobtcheff, Thierry Frémont, Simon Abkarian, Ronit Elkabetz

An old man gathers his grandchildren to tell them the story of Maki, a 10-year-old boy who has been kidnapped by slave traders. After a quick escape, he finds himself on an epic journey across Alexandria, Marseille, and Paris to rescue his new friend, an orphaned giraffe named Zarafa, from a Bedouin prince who intends to take her to France and present her as a gift to the King.
