New York-born writer-director Josiah leads his childhood friends—two aspiring actors, a struggling assistant director, and an aspiring stand-up comedian—to Los Angeles to pursue their dreams. But as Josiah develops a relationship with budding actress Ayoka and each of his friends confronts the challenges of cracking Hollywood’s glass ceiling, they soon begin to grasp the system they are up against and the price of being heroes in their new world.
