Brooklyn filmmaker and BAMcinemaFest alum Alex Ross Perry’s acerbic, whip-smart, and disarmingly daring black comedies, including 2012’s The Color Wheel, have established him as one of independent cinema’s boldest new voices. BAMcinématek presents a special sneak preview of Perry’s latest film, Listen Up Philip, an official selection at Sundance, Locarno, and the upcoming New York Film Festival, along with a selection of the director’s own personal favorites.
