Directed by Jean-Paul Salomé | 2013

With François Damiens, Géraldine Nakache, Lucien Jean-Baptiste

A down-and-out, formerly successful, now-underemployed actor takes a gig in a homicide reenactment at a ski resort in the French Alps. But he quickly gets in the way of the case’s chief investigator (Géraldine Nakache), getting swept up in the twists and turns of the case and taking his role way too seriously. Filming the reenactment scenes as though they were a movie shoot, Salomé slyly juxtaposes the worlds of forensics and filmmaking, resulting in a rare, uproarious murder mystery.
