Directed by Jim Chuchu | 2015

With Tim Mutungi, Kelly Gichohi, Mugambi Nthiga

Five lyrical vignettes, based on true stories, paint a revealing portrait of LGBT Kenyans living in a country where homosexuality is illegal and their very humanity is denied. Shot on a shoestring budget in beautiful black and white by a group of Nairobi artists (who worked anonymously due to the film’s taboo subject), Stories of Our Lives is a brave, important film that gives a voice to a tragically marginalized community.

Screens with Blitz The Ambassador’s Diasporadical Trilogia (13min).
