series Notes on Camp
Directed by Todd Graff | 2003
With Daniel Letterle, Joanna Chilcoat, Robin de Jesús
Theater camp: where the gays, geeks, and drama nerds are the stars of the show for the summer. This scrappy, endearing musical follows a group of talented teens (including a scene-stealing Anna Kendrick in her film debut) as they battle personal problems while chasing stardom. It’s so filled with affection for the misfits of musical theater that it’s catnip to anyone who’s ever so much as carried a spear onstage.
