The Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment and The New York Times launch the first-ever One Film, One New York campaign to get New York City to unite around one great film. New Yorkers can vote throughout August to choose the film, which screens in parks and movie theaters around the city, including BAM Rose Cinemas, on September 13.

New York Times film critics A.O. Scott and Manohla Dargis have selected five great films all shot in New York City: Spike Lee’s Crooklyn; Susan Seidelman’s Desperately Seeking Susan; Martin Scorsese’s New York, New York; Stanley Donen’s On the Town; and Ang Lee’s The Wedding Banquet.

Vote for your #OneFilmNY pick and learn more about the campaign at NYC.gov/OneFilm.
