Directed by Kathleen Collins | 1980

With Randy Ruiz, Jose Machado, Lionel Pina

The first film by Kathleen Collins (whose long-unseen 1982 film Losing Ground was one of the major rediscoveries of 2015) is a warmly comic, magical realist tale of three Puerto Rican brothers in upstate New York and their relationship to both an eccentric widow and the ghost of their dead father. Unseen for decades, this lost treasure from a major filmmaking talent has resurfaced thanks to a recent restoration.
