Laura is a seven-year-old country girl who just moved to a big city with her family. On the first night in her new neighborhood, she sees a shooting star falling to Earth and soon discovers that it’s not only alive—it also severed one of its points upon landing! Laura and her younger brother take their wounded friend home, where they discover that the little star is far more cosmically powerful than expected.
This animated delight from Germany features fantastical imagery, themes of friendship and compassion, and plenty of magic.
