Film Series
Reel Impact
BAM partners with Amazon Studios on a new series that puts film at the intersection of dialogue and action. Each evening features a film that goes beyond the headlines and presents an individual narrative of struggle and activism, revealing the complexity of the systems that govern our society. Screenings are followed by a conversation among creative voices, community activists, and some of the leading thinkers on the issues presented.
Reel Impact aims not for easy answers but to provide a window into the complicated issues at stake and the work that can be done, both as individuals and as communities, to begin to untangle them and facilitate change. We invite you, no matter of your level of engagement on any of the issues presented, to join the BAM community and find your place within these critical conversations.
